Tatsuki is hands-down one of my favorite hidden gems. The food is consistently fresh and delicious, with a staff that's always welcoming and attentive. The ambiance is low-key and intimate, with limited seating that adds to its charm. The crowd is a mix of locals and folks from Malibu, Calabasas, and beyond--you never know who you might spot here. The music sets the perfect vibe, with soft rock from bands like The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys playing in the background. It's one of those well-known secrets I'd love to gatekeep, but Tatsuki is so amazing, it feels like a disservice not to share. If you haven't been, do yourself a favor and check it out!

Best sushi in Woodland Hills. I come every Sunday with my beautiful GF. The waiters are all so kind and service is great. Love the energy in this place.

We were staying in Woodland Hills and our 7 year old asked for sushi. A quick google and we found Tatsuki right around the corner and gave it a try. Wow, is all I can say. This might be our new favorite spot for sushi and we will definitely be back. We ordered a vaiety of nigiri and rolls, our favorite being the black cod roll and the mackeral nigiri . Everything was fresh and delicious, best sushi we've had in a while. Can't wait for our next visit!

Cannot recommend enough. If you've ever wondered why Ventura Blvd is the Mecca of sushi in America, restaurants like Tatsuki will point you to your answer. Unassuming, limited seating, and the best fish you could ask for. The vibe is welcoming and nonchalant, with great music and a friendly young staff that makes you wonder where the sushi master is hiding ... because the sushi is masterful. Truly delicious, considered pieces of nigiri, paired perfectly with draft sake and Asahi. The omakase is reasonably priced, especially for the quality of fish you are receiving. Brothers is wonderful, Shibuya's lines speak for themselves. But Tatsuki? It's everything you wanted without the pretense or the wait. Oh, and the sushi master? He's retired, and his son has filled his shoes perfectly.

This is my husband's favorite sushi bar. He raved about it so much that I had to try it. So, for years we'd come every Friday night after work for sushi and beer. The owner and his daughter provide not only the best sushi I've ever had, but also the best service. The ambiance is relaxing and welcoming. I love their firecracker and red dragon rolls with a side of sriracha sauce. Talk about spicy and delicious! By the way, don't be surprised if you see a celebrity. One night Jermaine Jackson and his entourage were sitting at the table next to ours. Despite his being there, it was still a relaxing and chill atmosphere. Good food, great service. We'll be back.

Hands down the #1 sushi restaurant in the valley. If you haven't heard of it, I selfishly admit this special sushi place was one me that my kids and I have concluded is the valleys best kept sushi secret. Patrons here will likely kill me for posting this. First, the service is without a doubt attentive, first class, and they leave nothing for their sushi lovers to worry about, front got napkins to service with a smile. The sushi chefs are kind, knowledgeable and ready to serve up some fresh, delicious sushi to your delight! Now on to the food - WOW WOW WOW! My 10 year old can't get enough of this neighborhood shining star! Their Toro melts in your mouth, their fish, well hope it goes without saying, but no icy after taste! And last - their tuna is bright fresh and delicious! They have draft sake and bottles of Sapporo - not to mention Ramune for the kids! The decor is simplified, the music is a cross between 90's favorites from ub40 and even bob marly! Two restrooms, clean , orderly, reminds you of a small restaurant in Japan with dim lights and Japanese art that adorned the walls! Love it here! Will be back soon!

This restaurant is the best sushi you will ever have in town. It's worth the drive and the quality is hands down the best. I love the service. I love the humility and how they welcome you with the feeling of family. Don't get fooled by the other local places in town. This has been my spot for 10 years and counting.

What I got: 10/10: Sushi Lunch Special - $22 Tatsuki is hands down one of my favorite places for sushi! It's a small restaurant located in Woodland Hills that you can easily miss driving by. There is bar and regular table seating available, with a large parking lot in the back. The staff is always kind and attentive too. For the sushi lunch special, I got salmon, black snapper, and kanpachi. I also recommend the yellowtail! I usually don't like spicy tuna rolls, but the one here is my favorite and a absolute must try. The fish is always fresh and the quality is amazing. Overall, I highly recommend Tatsuki especially during lunch. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Total: 5/5

Came here a few times for lunch, and both times, it was fantastic. It's your classic old sushi joint with a big bar seating with only a few tables. Tatsuki has a great lunch combo menu as well sushi. Both times I ordered, their lunch chirashi. Their chirashi has a nice variety assortment of fresh fish. Tatsuki Lunch Box A is another great option that comes with 6pc tempura, 6pc thick cuts sashimi, and spicy cut roll. Sushi: Spanish Mackerel- good but too much ponzu. Bafun Uni- Sweet and delicious Hotate- Sweet and tender. Overall, I enjoyed Tatsuki Sushi. Nothing fancy, just good delicious sushi with great service.
